I just know that if I buy plane tickets/show tickets to go to this, they're going to announce a Halifax date the very next day..

Mun =/= Munsu.
and the munsu website is trash. They might update this in like 45,000 years. The best place to check for updates is the mile one website/admission.com. They both will be posting a link for ticket information within the next few days.

Although I'm going to get annoyed when they announce that the opener is some crappy local band that no one wants to see.
Screw you Hey Rosetta!

hmm, well, if they have both wet and dry sections, it might be safe to assume that it'll be ground admission. here's hoping!

Ha, I know. But they play like every weekend. Der rite lame wha.
Besides, the last time OLP played Mile One the band that opened for them started off as an OLP cover band. which is alright if they went on to bigger and better things. But they were still some crappy local band and although they didn't do any covers... it was still this weird set up of a cover band opening up for the real deal.

It's really kind of true haha They play Halifax a lot as well. They're ok. My RA last year is Tim's younger brother so that's really the only reason why I feel a small amount of loyalty towards them

Didn't Metallica have a cover band open for them on tour once?

Hum, they probably did, but it would have been cool. this was just... unfortunate. They didn't get the crowd excited all, it was a bit of a trainwreck.
Memorial is a sick university. haha. OLP is like a safe bet for mun.. they've played at or for Mun at least twice before.
Also, I'm not sure that the wet/dry thing really means anything. lol. Normally drinks aren't allowed on the floor at all, and the wet area is just the bar. Letting people drink on the floor is awesome, but doesn't tell us whether it will be seated or open.
