Hoobastank mistaken for OLP

At first I thought WTF?
But I took a listen and the guy actually doesn't sound too far off from Raine. The song itself sounds just a notch harder than OLPs harder stuff.

...he sounds nothing like raine...maybe like brandon boyd from incubus...but absolutely nothing like raine.

oh man. When I saw that on there. I did not click on it. I thought to myself OLP have a song called Out Of Control. Maybe they coverd U2..

I actually saw Hoobastank a few times live over the years.

Slightly pathetic. I've been listening to a lot of Hoobastank lately, too. Can't figure a single track where Doug sounds anything like Raine. Maybe one needs to be trippin' on acid to see the connection?
