Anyone have (or knwo of) a good OLP related New Mail Notification wav?

Ideas are welcome to, I shouldn't have any problems ripping/cutting/editing a track.

Thanks!

How does one set a sound to notify you of new mail?

I miss OLP. I think I shall listen to them right now.

What about "uh oh" from the beginning of consequence of laughing.

...at least I think it's that song. I haven't listened to OLP for like 2 years so my memory's a bit fuzzy.

If you using Outlook / Outlook Express for your e-mails go into your Control panel -> Sounds then the Sounds tab.

It's halfway down the list marked New Mail Notification

I'm liking the little guitar whine.

I like the "Uh Oh" idea. Anyone have a midi or wav file of it I can use?

I don't have MSN Messenger on my laptop here at work but i think MSN sounds are in the same place. They might be further down the list.

If memory serves when you have a new hotmail MSN notifies you with the Ribbit.wav

How can I get this to work in UNIX

First open up your favorite terminal session, preferably one with ALT CRON
Once you have your kernel mounted perform an ls dir search on \etc for your WINE session. From there load the wav into the virtual memory then use grep /s /h to load it into your e-mail client

How can I make my toaster make this sound when my toast is done?

That all depends on your make and model of toaster. Do you have a Bunmaster 3000, Sunbeam or other brand?[/quote]
