Maybe he figured doing drugs would help fix his bipolar ripoff disorder. Yeah, every band in the world nowadays rips off Radiohead and Coldplay, but how many try to do both? And how many can be as mediocre at it?

I agree, Coldplay are the better band in my opinion. Parachutes>anything Keane's released, or will ever release.

The earlier Coldplay stuff is ok but all I hear now is whinny crap, sounds like's about to break down and cry in the middle of his songs.
Seeing them on stage at Edgefest Keane had as good of a show as anybody else performing the guy was all over the stage not just hugging the microphone in one spot.
Anyways the point of this post is to wish Tom the best in recovering from his additctions. Not to bash one artist or another.

I liked Keane before, but I fell in love with them because of their stage performance at Edgefest.
I definitely wish Tom well in taking care of his problems.

interesting. For piano-based rock though, I prefer Ben Folds (Five)
