Since some people don't appreciate our discussions in the TWNB thread.....

As of right now, I've just gotten Yuffie in the forest outside of the Temple of the Ancients and I'm trying to level up Aeris a bit so she's not completely useless.

I'm hoping to get a lot of Mastered materia this time around, and I'm actually going to attempt to right Ruby and Emerald eventually. Last time, I got KotR with a gold chocobo but even with it I still got pwnt by the WEAPONs.

re-playing FF7 = good.

though I wish I could like... forget the story from my first play through. It hits you hard when you don't know what's happening next, but it loses a lot when you've basically got the whole thing memorised.

How do you get them into the highwind to breed them? I once caught them and then I couldn't get into the highwind. I was so pissed!

Uhhhh, you need to have a tame one dude. I don't think wild ones will work.

Where do you get a tame one?

I think you have to have stalls rented out at the chocobo farm or something like that. I can't remember though, it's been a very long time.

I really really really REALLY hope they do a remake of it for the PS3. Even if it's the exact same thing, just with updated graphics, I'll be happy.

That E3 tech demo of the intro was just

OMG! I want it to come out for PS2! Otherwise I would cry for years.

Well grap the tissues because if it is remade it will only be for PS3.

You need to rent several stables from the Chocobo farm. Then you catch one, you'll have to option of sending it back to the farm or releasing it. I suggest that once you get the Chocobo lure, you keep it equiped throughout the game. This way when you need to breed them, catching them won't be a hassle.

Aaaand disc 1 = finished.

Man, Aeris' death gets to me every time.

I love this story so much.

I really never liked Aeris. She was utterly useless! I trained her up high, bought her the best stuff I could and she still sucked. In the Japanese version, I believe you can revive her though.

Nah, that's just a bogus rumour. People have tried everything to try to find some way to revive her in the game, but I think the only way is to use a hack that often freezes the game up (and even then she has no dialogue options and is only useable in combat)

And I never really cared that she wasn't good in battle because I didn't really try to use her (even when I did, she was always the healer)
