Employers tend to monitor the activity of their employees to make sure they're working at work. They'll check what websites you visit and what you do online.

If you have someone paying you to work on a computer, chances are someone down the line is checking up on what you do online.

That doesn't matter.
It's the company's internet access that you're using, correct?
They can and likely will monitor what you do online.
Mainly to ensure that you're not sitting there looking at porn all day.
