hurray for my own art thread!
here's some writing i did not too long ago...
you're the neverending bright side
you're the starfishes limbs
you're everyone's heart
and how do you do it? you're healing trees
you're making plans to stay above the water when the ship sinks
you've got ideas to save yourself, but
you're saving the world feasable or not
and you're killing time
you're jumping life lines with miles to go
no one here understands you and your kind of optimism
spun by spiders on a sad street
and crashes can't stop you, misfortune can't match you
you're reading a sonnet and impressing your stories
writing your books on a broad mind
you're finding your purpose, how did you get here?
delays can't deny you and paints can't define you
they'll never match your strength and grace
your grace, you're playing games with the russian ballet
it's not much but hey, i wanted an art thread!
now i'll go photo some of my paintings

here's some things i did a while back
i can't find any of my recent work. either it's at school or i lost it forever.
oh well.
yeah. i went through a flower painting phase. i may never figure out why. haha.
in case you can't tell, because of the odd composition angle, it's a pair of shoes and an old fashioned telephone. it's done in pastels, and was actually the first pastel painting i ever did.

but i really like using acryllic better. i've got some new paints i'm dying to throw at something.

so i actually don't have any new art to show because my art teacher confiscated them to frame around school before i got a chance to photograph them for my CM
*shakes fist*
really it's just 3am and i'm all... sleep is for the weak and there's no one on le hub and i just felt like spamming my art thread.
that's it.

i actually wrote that poem about my art teacher, odd though it may sound
she is one amazing lady
and anyway, i wasn't pushing to be nominated for that category. haha.
didn't we eliminate that category anyway? i thought we did...
but yeah, hahaha that was when i went to bed.
i think the 'fuck this i'm leaving' was just habit. hehe
