The next album is with Rick Rubin. I hold a lot of respect for the guy, so maybe they'll have a good album.
Except everyone and their brother seems to be getting him to do their album nowadays. I've heard rumors of Justin Timberlake working with Rubin.

Oooh it's official? I heard they were leaving Rock, but it was just a rumor at that point.
This should be interesting.

www.theprp.com has a headline up from today or yesterday, I think.
They put a link to
www.metallica.com, but the link didn't work, so I couldn't really confirm it.

oh, he's possibly working the new Linkin Park album, too...
a far cry from Slayer, Johnny Cash, and The Mars Volta.

Rubin did produce Dixie Chicks' upcoming album though (and Weezer's Make Believe, which many a fan hate with a passion excluding myself), so just keep that in mind.

Everyone becomes less bad-ass and more simple with Bob Rock.
If I wanted simplicity. I'd talk to myself all day.

Rick Rubin produced Empty by God Lives Underwater
I think he's one of the best producers out there today. I doubt if he'll make me like Metallica (I not a fan) but it sure can't hurt. And yes, Rubin working with OLP would be awesome, although unlikely.

Hey, as long as he doesn't let the drums sound like trashcans... he's ok in my book.

Is it just me, or has nothing you've posted recently made any sense.
