What would you rather watch

I was sitting down watching the hockey game between Canada and German when out of nowhere, they change it to men's figure skating. I was like "what the fuck, who in their right mind would turn off hockey to show figure skating". So I decided to put this poll up to see how many people watch figure skating.

hey! i like figure skating. i use to practice the jumps with no skates on when i was younger cause i have no balance at all on ice skates. true story.

The CBC was discussing what they would be showing. They planning for 100% hockey unless the hockey game was under control or a blowout, for one side or the other. Then they felt they could switch back and forth... which they ended up doing.

hockey.
the only smart time to interrupt hockey is inbetween periods. any other time is just wrong. horribly, horribly wrong.

they actually cut away form hockey?
i watched half the game before i had to leave for work so i didnt see it all
but i cant believe they actually cut it off, the only thing a lot of Canadians even care about in the olympics is hockey

Yeah, I'm one of them. One of the main reasons why I watch the Olympics is to watch hockey.

Yeah it's true, Hockey is the highest rated/watched event in Canada as far as viewers go, so it's true that it's the most important.
However they didn't completely cut off hockey. They just cut away for a few minutes to watch the routines of the Canadian skaters. It was still annoying as hell, but after every Canadian routine they'd go back to hockey. They did continue to air the game right until the end also.
