Bring Back the Sun (potential movie)

Well, really really fucking big news for me.
I'm taking an Honors Creative Writing course this year, and our first project was to put together a 5 Act play based on ... well on nothing, it was completely "um... you come up with something" I really just kinda started writing about shit, and came up with a pretty cool plot that's very conceptual and idealistic, but also emotion-provoking (funny and sad) but at the same time like Garden State or The Matrix or any idealogical plot makes you go "well... actually that's an interesting way to look at something" and for the most part, i think it's pretty legitimate as far as ends meeting and stuff, no loose strings.
So I got a phone call today from the Dean of Performing Arts at one of the largest performing arts universities on the east coast... apparantly he's friends with my professor, and she sent him my play. He was apparently very impressed (he was even excited in his voice and shit) and wanted to know if it was something I really cared about or was a project, and to be honest, yeah it was going to be something I continued working on. He said that it's a goldmine and I need to have it copyrighted immediately. I told him I was going to enter it into a playwrite contest, and he was said they will fuck me out of a lot of money by contracts- he gave me the number of his guy who does his copyright work for him and told me to call him and have it done as soon as possible. He said he would be more than willing to offer guideance on editors, etc publishing agents, or whatever I might need. He said the concept is what is important, this is your first play and technically it's shit... it needs to be worked on by people who know what they're doing, but that's the easy part... he said get it copyrighted and you'll own gold.
Anyways, it's titled Bring Back the Sun... and the song actually fits some of the themes and concepts in it really well. I will post it as soon as I am advised I can. He said I can probably pick up directors within a few months if I focus on it as a playwrite-- it's something that would work really well as a live performance) but to be honest with you, i'd really like to see it in a movie (what i had in mind while writing) because of what film is capable of portraying... for instance I have a guy who burns himself alive... can't really do that on stage.
I really don't brag much, and I hope that's not what this looks like (most of you don't know me) I'm very modest, so I don't talk shit unless I really believe it, but this is one of the coolest things that's ever happened to me...
