Cell phones

What kind of cell phone do you have and is it good? By good I mean what features does it have that you like, and is it durable?
I have/had a Motorola V220, it worked for basically one year and died. We had three of them in our family and they all crapped out. So I want a cool one, but I want a good cool one! I have to buy mine off ebay because they will make me switch to Cingular and I don't want to lose my nights at 7.

mine is a motorola but it's reeeeally old.
it doesn't work very well anymore, but then again, i inherited it from my dad 2 years ago, after he had had it for 2 years, so yeah.
look! there it is!
we have verizon service, and it's pretty good. nights are at 9 but they're free and so are weekends.

Nights are almost always at 9...that's why we don't want to switch.
That really is old, my friend had that one she got when we graduated in 02!! She just barely upgraded.

I have a nokia 6610i. It's ok except for the lack of a "ringing" ringtone. And my friend bought me a cute pink cover for it <3

What do you mean lack of a ringing ring tone? None of them actually make a ringing sound?

i have a motorola v180. i have no problems with it cept that i want a camera phone and i can't upgrade til my contract is up next year *stabs cingular*

Camera phones suck. I do not care about that at all. All I really care about is a color screen and mp3 rings.

Yeah, they give you software, a usb port, and you go to town. It's really much more fun than could ever be described.
My text message sound used to be "WHEIIIEIEIEIEIE SUPERMANS DEAD".

rad. its a pain getting ringers for mine. but i have a usb cord to download pictures from my phone to my comp (sold seperately, some restrictions apply)

i agree. the only reason i have a cell phone is it's cheaper to call home on it than to get a long-distance card for my res phone.

I used to hate them, and in reality I'd rather not have them. But I don't have a phone in my apartment, so I sort of need one for communication with my family.
I think you just have to laugh at how stupid the ringtones are and have fun with them. I have a Keith Urban song for my dad, Dude Looks like a Lady (his nick is Dude) for my bro, and mmm bop bop,chicka chick ahhhhh for everyone else.
