Board colour?

For some reason the whole board appears black - no green at all. On the main page, there's no green under the "Forum, Topics, Posts, Last Post" row, nor under any of the three columns. Nor anywhere else on the board, actually. It's all black.
wtf, mate?

oh, and it looks fine (see: green) on my laptop, just not on my desktop. Both using Firefox.

Hmm... it would appear my colour settings are messed up. Just great!

Wow, my settings were really messed up! I couldn't even see the difference between the black in the background and the black in my avatar...

Thanks, Al.
Something's seriously wrong with my monitor. Even though I saved the settings (and ensured that everything was still set the same), I had the same problem this morning.
I think I need a new monitor. I have a feeling that mine has a problem "warming up". About time to invest in a LCD...

his avatar is more gray. You have to look at it a few times to get what he's talking about.

Try calibrating with the links on this site:

Most importantly, make sure that every square in the following image is independantly distinguishable (particularily on the white/black scale) by adjusting your brightness and contrast:

Do you often carry bowls of fruit in front of mountains?

Those are two separate pictures.
You'd know that if you were properly calibrated.
And yes, quite often.
(no, that's not me)

I think it is most clear that you are posting images of yourself Robert.
Besides, I'm sure the 23 viruses I had put every aspect of my computer out of whack.

The bottom scale... the b&w... are there two boxes on top of each other? Or are those just twice the height of the colorful boxes?
Posted: 1/13/2006, 9:21 am
by Axtech
Just rectangular boxes. The scale is just left-right, not up-down.

Alrighty, then I'm good.
