Wait... what did he admit to being responsible for?

All he said was that it was his decision to go to Iraq. Basically he says that he has been trying to correct the error, he's not saying that he made the error.
Besides, he then goes on to boast about ousting Saddam Hussein. That's what he really wants to be seen as taking responsibility for.
The president unexpectedly took questions from the audience, including one from a woman who asked Bush how many Iraqi "civilians, military, police, insurgents, translators" had been killed in the war.
"I would say 30,000, more or less, have died as a result of the initial incursion and the ongoing violence against Iraqis," Bush said. "We've lost about 2,140 of our own troops in Iraq."
Is he taking responsibility for the lives lost? No. Just a statistic stated without remorse; just a means to his end.

As far as I know though, isn't this the first time he has admitted that the intelligence in which they recieved was faulty?

Ahh.
Yes, I agree... duh.
Pretty amazing he's admitting to anything, though. I still have less than no respect for the man, regardless.
