I want some suggestions on songs that have to do with the topic of love, but in a different way than the usual lovey-dovey crap. I don't mean songs that are just straight up angry about someone cheating on them, but songs where the love isn't perfect, but it's worth fighting for. Basically I want songs that deal with the complexity of emotions that are involved with love.

I'm sure there are emo songs galore on the topic.

Well... most of Maroon 5's "Songs About Jane" fits that description, really. Not sure that's what you want, though.
