What are your 10 favorite albums of 2005? They could be in order or not. Mine are in order, as best I could...it was tough though!
1. The Bad Plus – Suspicious Activity?
2. Our Lady Peace – Healthy In Paranoid Times
3. Fiona Apple – Extraordinary Machine
4. The Duhks – The Duhks
5. Laura Veirs – Year Of Meteors
6. Ben Folds – Songs For Silverman
7. Jamie Cullum – Catching Tales
8. Dave Matthews Band – Stand Up
9. Nine Inch Nails – With Teeth
10. Tori Amos – The Beekeeper
I don't think there's any other CDs coming out this year that I'm really waiting for, but I guess this could get updated in the next month...I doubt it though!

Do they have to be albums FROM 2005 or just albums that we loved IN 2005?

1. Our Lady Peace - Healthy In Paranoid Times
2. Staind - Chapter V
3. 30 Seconds To Mars - A Beautiful Lie
4. Theory Of A Deadman - Gasoline
5. Coldplay - X&Y
I only bought 5 new albums this year... so it's hard to slap any more on there.. lol.. unlike most people, I was really disappointed with X&Y.. A Rush Of Blood To The Head was amazing imo.. but X&Y didn't have that same .. something.. to it.. Gasoline's ok, nothing special.. A Beautiful Lie's really good.. it was actually a tough call between Chapter V & Healthy In Paranoid Times for my #1 cd from this year... but I'll give it to HIPT

Killers was in '04. Unless you count the 17 times they rereleased the same album.

I will have to say that OLP and Kanye West will be on my list...."Late Registration" is arguably one of the best albums released this year.
Well, if Jamie Foxx got his album out before the new year.....
