omgz so ye olde englishe class was so boring yesterday? and so we started passing notes?
it started with
alex: this is such a waste of time
kim: i knows it! i'm thinking about fashion
and eventually proceeded to
"YE OLDE LETTER"
Dearest Lady Kimothy,
What a tragedy that attendance to lectures is relevant to our finalmost grade-mark. I quite imagine this time would be better spent reading the textbook or somesuch other scholastic pursuit. At any rate Rachel seems to be catching up on her diversionary reading [she was reading a novel under the desk lol]. Personally I have hidden an earphone under my tresses and do proceed to give half my attention to the Olde Arcade Fire. I quite imagine thy musings on fashion are serving thee well in preparation for thy future occupation as a lady-in-waiting, gentlest of professions for a maiden such as thyself. I didst attempt mine most incorrect and outdated forms of Englishe but I natheless suspect of it that it is not quite olde enough to suit this class (or mayhap I should have spoken thusly: "old enow"). In any case, this blows. Pardon. This doth blow.
All my best,
Alexicus the Unentertained
Post-Script
Gentle time, why tarriest thou at such leisure?
"A BRAVE RESPONSE"
Faire Aleximus, my lasse chaste & pure,
Thine letter hath drawn dewe to mine eyes, to thinketh that I not be onely idle in these dolourous spindles of time. I pray onely that the great creatour mayhap murther me with mercie as mine tresses art drawn back this day, and shouldst hide not a winnesome earbud to blossom forth its songcrafte in the secrecie of shadowe.
God be with you,
Thine Owne Ladie Kimberly
I have no idea what half her letter meant but I was trying so hard to laugh that my eyes were stinging with tears.
Oh yeah it's a class of like 10 people haha.
