I'm intrested in knowing who many of you people take your writing influences from?
Mine would be Josh Homme (QOTSA), Matthew Good, and Kurt Cobain. To a lesser degree Ryan Dahle (Limblifter/Age of Electric), and Raine Maida (OLP)

how did this get moved from the other forum? It fit there, but anyways
yeah i assume that everyone has their own style, but most people take stuff from their influences, it's why during interviews bands are asked who their influences are

well i'm referring to song writing but anything i guess, otherwise thsi thread will die pretty quick.
I just realized i probably take more from Chris Cornell then Raine, probably because i take from OLD OLP, which seemed to be very Cornell inspired anyways
