I really don't think we've ever had a thread that's straight-up about sex. Perhaps it's taboo or such, but you are all knowledgable people, and this is one of those subjects that it's good to ask questions about/talk about on the internet.

Rules:

Don't make fun of anyone for anything they say, try and help people out if they've got problems.

Nothing TOO personal. Use your common sense as to what's appropriate.

No boobie jokes, please. We get it, sex is hilarious hahahaha. :uh:

If you don't want to read about it, don't come in here.

If this is too badass, delete it.

don't worry, it's just SEXXXX!

Hey I have a question. I want to go off birth control, I don't need it anymore, but is it bad for your health? In the summer it messed up my ovaries and I got really sick so I'm afraid it will ruin me.. That would be a little funny. "Finally, she escapes the immoral clutches of premarital sex only to die of birthcontrol withdrawals"

Also to help Yannic.
I have had sex.

 Wouldn't a lesbian threesome consitute having sex? Because we don't do it...we just have conversations. Nothing erotic...just you know...knowlegde gathering for the days to come.

thanks sinead you're the best. i've never heard of anyone having bad health problems from going off birth control. seriously, talk to a doctor.

ok, here's the thing: my birth control is the shot, that lasts for three months, and I started it three months ago. It expired this week, and my boyfriend moved away as well. So we're obviously not going to be seeing each other that often, maaaaaybe once a month. The shot has some serious side effects if you're on it for too long during your lifetime, and it's the only form of birth control i can ever see myself using. therefore, I don't want to waste the time I have on it now. However, my mother does not see it that way.

word to the wise: don't tell your mother. EVER. it's probably the one thing in my life that i'd rather just not be honest about. I don't want her thinking about me having sex and then talking about it ALL the time.

"Marge, I swear I didn't touch her. You know how bashful I am -- I can't even say the word "titmouse" without giggling like a schoolgirl. [giggles]"

Sorry, I just had to.

Continue seriousness!

i think sex becomes really strange as you start to get older and start gaining experience

i'm seeing a guy who's 23 (i'm 18... 19 on saturday!) and he's really sexually experienced. before him, i had only slept with 2 guys and both were one night stands. so, now i'm starting to figure out all the things you're supposed to do in bed. it's a weird sort of art, if you ask me.

he'll suggest something and i'm just thinking "you can do that shit? no way!" it's kind of like christmas

sometimes it's intimidating because it takes a bit of practice to get good at certain things

i dunno, i'm going through a major sexual revolution these days

anyway, i really like talking about sex; it's a good way to gain perspective and become more comfortable with yourself and your body
