That show's like, really close to where I live (maybe less than an hour drive), and I was wondering if anybody knew whether it was like, college students only or where to get tickets or anything.. I missed the Philly show cuz of a doctor's appt, hopefully I'd be able to get out of drama club for that day, even though I'd doubt it.. just wondering if anybody had any info on that show... *crosses fingers he gets a chance to go..*

There doesn't seem to be any real information about it up on the college's site yet. All I could find was an old site for the club who puts on concerts, including last year's (or possibly the year before) "big concert" info. It cost $15 for students, $20 for general public. Let's hope it's the same for OLP this year.

I'm planning on going, if I have the money for a train ticket after the Toronto extravaganza. $60 from Philly to a mile from the college... not too shabby. Hopefully Melissa will, as well. I told her how much it'll end up costing and she replied simply with ":O" so I dunno. I'll get to not sleep that night, though, cos the next train out is the next day.

If she doesn't come, this'll be my first concert ever alone.

would we have to sleep on the streets josh style!?!!

Nonstudents will be able to buy tickets over the net very soon. Please check back with me early next week and I will provide you with a link. You can also call and buy a ticket if you live near the college. However, once again all the ticket info will be out next week. So...you can email me: NOTREAL@juniata.edu to get more info.

Don't go sending this info to R&S or anything, though... we don't need lots and lots of competition to try to get tickets. From what I can tell, this is quite a small college. Nobody there can believe they got OLP.

Also, I changed the guy's email so he doesn't get a billion people (not that many of us are interested in this concert ) emailing him. I'll do it and post back when I get the info.

Yea, I wouldn't think the school's that big... I'm working as hard as I can to try to get there... hopefully I find a way (the tickets wouldn't be that hard.. just finding a way around everything else and getting my parents to drive me... :-P )

Just where is this school anyway Nikki? I never heard of it. Do not worry I am not going.> I need my money for U2 in November...Besides I don't really like seeing OLP in Colleges.. ( bad experiences everytime I went to a college show)

It's in like... the middle of Pennsylvania. Wouldn't even be considering going if it wasn't for the train going basically straight from Philly to the college. Yay trains!

For some reason I love college shows. I guess it stems from how Villanova went.

Awesome. My gf (who I'd be going with) goes to State College, which is only 45 minutes away. So finally, I'll probably get to see them again. Didn't get to go to the Philly show cuz I don't live there anymore, and it wasn't easy finding someone to go and driving 2 hrs to get there on a Wednesday. Anyway... Nikki... keep us posted please!

Why won't you be there? Wish I could go, but I work that day..

I'd have to go by myself, which would be OK had I ever taken the train from 30th Street Station in Philly before... or had even ever been to 30th Street Station before... plus I have no place to stay (can't afford a hotel), and wandering around a college campus all night would be fine if I had company.

Ugh... I have work =(

if I didn't have to work I go with you. I could of met you at 30th street station. But like I said I work. SORRY. maybe next time.

BTW that is the station AMTRAK stops at, and first stop in PHILLY On the SEPTA from Trenton..

If I had a lisence.. could drive there on my own.. and didn't have the final play rehearsal the next day.. I'd help out.. I don't think I'd have a hard time figuring out who's who there... just nobody'd know me... lol
