Okay, so this guy, I just discovered him a few weeks ago.

If you dont know who he is, he is this amazing magician/illusionist. I found out he has been doing magic and stuff since he was little. Now on A&E he's got his own show, Mindfreak.

If you haven't seen the show, I highly suggest it. The man is crazy.



Have any of you heard of him or seen him?


It seems like every stunt he does is insane. He smashed Houdini's strait jacket record. He can do the metamorphsis illusion in under a second. And now on the show, he is getting laying on a bed of 8 inch nails, while supporting a third of the weight of a Hummer.

not to mention all the little tricks blow my mind.

yea, I seen a bit of his show.. he reminds me of David Blaine.. magic is crazy!

Yeah he's awesome! He's like David Blaine except way better, his weakest tricks are David's Grand Finale's. Did anyone see the Fire and Levition Episodes? Fucking sweet!

I think he is a hell of a lot better than Blaine. The levitation thing says it right there.

I'm still trying to figure out the needles and thread trick he did on that 4th episode... you cant put needles out of your belly button after you swallow them... you just cant.




some of the show, though, the scenes are cut. So i can see people being skeptic, but I'm a proud believer in Criss.

The thing that bugs me is how a lot of his stuff could be easily faked due to editing. They really gotta learn not to edit the show the way they do. It's all about the camera NOT cutting away.

yeah, seeing it on tv kind of wrecks the whole idea of being able to watch their every move and guess how they did it. watch magic live whenever you can. it always blows you away.

yep exactly. There are some good productions though that don't edit it with rediculous shots of the crowd etc... which gives them a little more credibility.

I know the editing is bad on the show. But there are certain things that blow me away. that they haven't edited. Like Criss pulling the needles and thread out of his belly button. and the levitation stuff in the parks.

I'd like to see it live, but I can't have everything.

i took guitar lessons at the music store his brother runs here on long island called monster music. the guy is a dick and has posters for his brothers stuff everywhere in the store.

if youre saying that his brother's a dick, who cares?
he's not Criss. and about the posters....

if one of my family members were in any kind of business, I would want to help promote them. so...

I care actually, just because these reality shows will throw in the family because it looks better. Usually his siblings would have a job, but now they're getting a bunch of money to be on his show and act like they're a part of the team.

It's stupid.
