Me and my friend went golfing tonight and he brought his other friend with him. So on the second hole I'm getting ready to shoot. I pull out the trusty 5 wood to get some distance on this shot, the guy we went with walks in front of me, but he dissapears behind a tree, so i take the shot. It goes to low, shoots out under the tree, then a loud CRACK! was heard followed by a scream and the guy just drops down. It was a damn brutal hit, right on the second hole as well. The guy was good though he walked it off. His ankle is only oh say a little swollen. But yeah, good game other than that. Remember, never go in front of someone when they are about to shoot.

That's like rule number one on the course.

It hit the guy. Right in the ankle. But the hitting occured while we were on the second hole.

Actually I didn't. The worst part is I lost my damn ball too. It must have bounced away somewhere, and he was to busy crying to see where it went. Wuss

i would have totally gotten a mulligan.

You know... people can actually die by golf ball. I think it was Monkey who had a friend with a family member that happened to.

That lineage totally makes it sound like it's untrue, but it wasn't one of those stories just told to scare people.

So yeah. Be careful.

I know people can die from being hit with a golf ball which is why i was initially afraid. I thought I had hit him in the head the way he screamed, but once I found he was alright it was actually pretty funny, and he was joking and stuff.

I've been hit by golf balls lots of times. Not fun.

I don't golf.
