And they're doing it at my university, and have been for a few years.

I love how your post just seemed to have ENDED the conversation.
There are so many studies that are funded from god knows who... for REALLY STUPID CRAP! I mean, this specific scenario may produce some knowledge, but... uh... others that I have read about before, definately not too much NEW knowledge.

Yeah, but most great discoverys arn't just great discoveries. They are lots of small not really important discoveries that eventually amount to a big discovery. Like my Biology prof last term was studing what cavities in a certain type of beetle caused buoyancy. not very exciting. But these findings may eventually lead to something interesting.

All knowledge is useful. I can't see how you could say otherwise.

I don't know, I'm pretty sure I could find some un-useful knowledge if I tried.

Whatever you find, there will be some circumstance where that is useful.

I suppose knowing sulphuric acid and milk chocolate can fuse to make a sealant could save your life one day!
It worked for MacGyver.

yes they do, but you'd have to eat them to the point of excess for anything to really happen. it's like how carrots turn your skin orange.
edit: another thing, they are the ONLY natural food that whiten your teeth. so it's back to whitestrips for you, honey.
