*grabs*
Wow, talk about perfect timing... Guero just ended when the download finished...
*listens to mp3*
Woah. The beginning totally sounds just like their cover of "Street Fighting Man".
*keeps listening*
Ooh, I like. But that's not really a surprise to anyone, I'm sure.

There's an article floating around with Noel saying that he didn't want this one to be released as the single, and that it's not even the 5th best song on the album.
It's a decent song, but nothing that just jumps out at you and makes you say whoa.
With that said, I like it, it's about what I was expecting from Oasis, and I love Noel's backing vocals.

That's not surprising. Artists usually don't get to pick the singles. Sony seems to have picked a good one, though. It's apparently doing quite well. Lord knows people in this country are talking about Oasis WAY more than they have in the past... what... 8 years? Although, people were doing that before the single even hit the airwaves.
I really wonder what suddenly made people decide, "Hey, Oasis still exists! Let's get excited about their upcoming album!"

Wow. I just realize how long they've been around for. I remember going to my friend's house in the fourth grade and hearing her say that her cool older sister was really into them

Ahh, 4th grade!
And yeah, it's scary for me to think that I've been an Oasis fan for 10 years.

I played this song on my college radio station about a month ago. It's definitely a good song, but I wouldn't call it great. Anyway, it was good enough that I played it on the radio at least one more time (maybe 2, I forget).

I don't really like it.....compare to their older stuff its kind of crappy. But I'll await the next single.....I didn't like "The Hindu Times" either but the next couple I didn't mind.

There are a few songs in particular on this album that I'm dying to hear. Lyla's good, but from the sounds of the other songs, it's not even close to the best on Don't Believe The Truth.

I don't like it much either.
