I really don't know what to think about this.

I don't know whether he's bluffing or if the guy is just mental.

If anyone is stupid enough to donate 50,000 for a rabbit, then they deserve to lose their money.

I don't mean 50,000 from one person either, I mean if people believe a rabbit is worth that much, then however much someone donates is their loss.

I'm going to donate 5 dollars, and once again reiterate that EATING MEAT IS BAD.

If he had the rabbit for so long then I doubt he'll fry him up. But he is right, owning pets is expensive. I have a guinea pig and they are fairly similar. On top of shavings and food, they have to have healthy supply of alfalfa hay and its recommended that they have one cup of fresh vegetables a day. That adds up.

It's just scam made by some asshole. He wouldn't have bothered "saving him and nursing him back to health" only to eat him. If he truly wanted that rabbit to have a "life fit for a king" he could give it to the zoo for free. He could give it away to someone else or sell it. It's just some asshole, who is out to make a quick $50 000 by playing on people's sympathies and lack of common sense. If even 1 out of every 10 visitors donates his requested 1 dollar he's still making a good deal of money for absolutley nothing. Also there is nothing stopping him from eating that rabbit if he did recieve his $50 000. It's just a scam don't throw your money away on it.

Ok. It doesnt cost THAT much. We have two rabbits and two guinea pigs(and soon 2 rats!) and their cost of living is quite cheap.

I know, that is one EXPENSIVE bunny. i have one and it isn't expensive at all. I doubt it'll cost $50,000 to keep it alive for the next 8(ish) years.

I'd say this is most definately fake. There are other solutions to a rabbit being expensive besides eating it. The way he puts emphasis on what a cute and loveable bunny it is, and the touching story about how he found it and nursed it back to health, are much to neat a sales pitch to be probable.
