I just got this in an e-mail yesterday and I thought some of you might be interested...
GREENWHEEL NEWS UPDATE:
- The self-titled "Soma Holiday" Indie Record -
It's been a long time coming ... well 5 years or so to be exact. We know you a lot of you guys have been bummed about the lack of availability of the old Soma Holiday indie album - the one that was released in 2000 before we had our record deal. Now that we have parted ways with Island, we are finally going to fix that. We have just finished remixing and remastering that whole record, and we are going to re-release it to the public.
It's the same original recordings of the 11 songs, but the sonic quality has been dramatically upgraded and we are really happy with how it turned out.
It will first be available at the concert on March 4th in Columbia, MO ... kind of like an unofficial CD Re-Release Party if you will. Soon after that, you will be able to get it online via our webstore on our new website that will be launching shortly.
We hope you guys like the updated record ... at least now scalpers can't ask $250 for a copy of it on Ebay anymore.
Also, we just hooked up with a new T-shirt company that rocks!!! They make awesome, vintage style T-shirts. We have a brand new design that we are trying to get done before the Columbia show for ya'll as well. Hopefully everything will go as planned.
Well, that's it for now. Hope to see all of you guys next month in Columbia!!! Don't worry, more good news to come soon ...
