Resident Evil 4

Alright, for all you Gamecube owners out there, you simply must buy this game simplye because it is awesome. RE 4 is by far the best Resident Evil title to date and heres why:

1: Leon S, Kennedy is back.

2. New Camara System- Instead of using t he usual fixed camara from past games, the camara is now placed right behind and follows Leon.

3. 3D Environments- No more pre-redered backrounds. This adds new dimensions to the game. Each of the areas in the game are greatly improved.

4. New Combat System- Unlike te older RE games, you actually have to point and shoot. So when an enemy is comming at you, you raise your weapon and the camara comes up right behind Leon's right shoulder in order to aim better. Its cool. For instance, you can shoot the foot of a bad guy and he trip and fall down. Thats a good tactic to help you in a fight. Also, the controls are different. You can jump over, down, climb like any other RE game but its different this time. You can kick enemies now...but only when the enemy is stunned. At othet times during the game, you have to 'sprint' to evade trouble. Or you have to 'cut' to save your life. Also during battle, you can dodge attacks that will most certainly hurt you alot. Its all good.

5. New Enemies- The new bad guys are totally cool. You aren't just fighting mindless zombies any more, you are fighting people..just like Leon. For example: In one part of the game, Leon can barricade himself inside an two story house. He can push various objects infront of the doors and windows to slow the enemies attempt to kill you. Eventually, the bad guys bust though and Leon can go upstairs. Now you may be thinking that it will be easy to kill the bad guys because there is only one way to come up stairs..right? Wrong, The enemies will grab lad ders and attempt to climb in though the upper windows to get at you. Did I mention that theres a chainsaw weilding maniac that can kill you instantly? In fact, many enemies can kill you in one shot.

6- The Merchant- You can now buy and sell items that you find either in boses or barrels or from enemies that you defeated. When you sell the items, you collect 'pestas' which you can use to buy gear, like a new weapon or a first aid spray. You can find other more valuable items through out the game too but there are ways you can devalue the price of an item. Thats bad. You can also tune up weapons as well, which obviosly makes them have more of a kick.

7.The Story- Kudos to Capcom from departing from the same old story. Instead of using the same formula( a lone survivor tapped somewhere with G-Virus infect monsters all around) they went with something fresh and new. I'm not going to spoil the story but its really good.

I think I may have gotten everything but thats pretty much it.
