No, when I was driving home from Rochester, NY through Canada, we stopped at a Wendy's and I definitely heard some guy go "aboot." I laughed at him, and he tried to be a hardass, and I laughed at him again.

Because you have short hair. Grow out the shag, dress in thrift store clothes, and be yourself, and you can land a girl without a problem. Oh yeah, and don't look to get a girl, it only prolongs the loneliness because you push them away.
