Damnit. I don't WANT to go back to college. And i DEFINATELY do not want my exams

I actually cant figure it out, but i balanced A and came up with
2Zn + PbCl2 ----> 2ZnCl + Pb
2Zn + PbCl2 ----> 2ZnCl + Pb

It's definitely what you had for B, because the oxidation state for Zn is 2 and for Cl its -1 and you have to do the crossover thing.
