Okay, I'm about to propose two age-old questions.

1: What's the best (or, at least, a very good) file sharing p2p program? Explain why.

2: What's the best web browser? Explain why, and why it's better than IE.

Thanks,

<3, Robbo

1. i dunno
ive heard reasons for and against everything
i dont have any opinion on it

2. i use firefox
mainly because it (or mozilla) are best for signing into my stuff for the school and are the only browsers specifically endorsed by the school and because they tend to have less issues with security
go fuck yourself.

1: the hub (with all the different ones) and bittorent, because you can find anything on there

2: Firefox because:
no pop ups
tabbed browsing
les security flaws
less updates
customizeable
extensions
etc

Heh, exactly. That's why, even though it's been asked a lot before, I asked again.

With the hub as a filesharing service... Can I search on all hubs, on only ones that I'm actually in?

I'll try Firefox. Always wondered what the big difference could be. No harm giving it a shot, I guess. :D

1) bit torrent for sure, PROS: it's true, find the right websites and you can find almost anything and if there are enough people sharing, you'll have incredibly fast downloads.

CONS: Some websites are like a forum where you have to sign up and your IP is registered with the site. So if you don't upload the file you're downloading, (By leaving bit torrent running when you're finished) Then eventually your share ratio will be really low. You can see what your share ratio is on the sites and well... if you're a leech you could be banned. The BIGGEST problem with these "sign up" sites is: Sure it's hassle to sign up, but Bit Torrent can really eat up your bandwidth and your internet browsing etc... will go SUPER slow, so it's a real pain to leave bit torrent running while you're using the computer.

However for sites like http://www.suprnova.org there are so many users sharing the files and you don't need to sign up, so you can get lightning fast downloads and just quit bit torrent immediately after you're finished downloading.

Hope that helps Rob.

And as for your number 2 question, I have no idea.

Well, is there any way to change the history setup? Because when I look at the history in Firefox, it shows them all by the title of the page, whereas in IE they're organized by the website itself (much more useful when trying to find something).

Damn. How do you find hubs that might actually have what you want? Or is it just hit-or-miss?
