there's this guy. i thought things were going well...and it's not that things aren't going well but ok...this is his thought process:

"let's see, we hang out all the time, talk every day, make out and cuddle and watch movies alll the time, clearly she knows i just want to be friends with her"

so i find out by me having to ask him, that he just wants to be best friends with me for now cause his last g/f screwed him up. he had NOO idea he was leading me on!!! i got over this initial upsetness and frustration and now we're just super best friends with i'm hoping potential...but can someone help me understand how he could think that i knew he just wanted to be friends!!...

I have that same problem. Except for the making out part. It's more like the hand holding/cuddling part. I don't know I just get the vibe he is still interested BUT NOTHING EVER HAPPENS EVER! Seriously, how long can I wait? the answer is: forever. Because there is no one else right now. Sad.

have you talked to him about it though? cause maybe he's unsure as to what you want.

what i don't get is how a guy who just wants to be friends but acts like more than friends wouldn't feel the need to clue me in!!!!

Maybe he was just hoping you felt the same way. I've decided that that is how relationships work, we just hope the other person feels the same way.

No I haven't asked him about it. What am I supposed to say? I like you, can we get back to hand holding and perhaps progress? I just can't bring myself to say that when he doesn't make more of an effort to call me. He ALWAYS comes when I ask him to, except for one thing I can think of. But he never initiates. So yeah. I hate him for stealing my heart.

Maybe he's just timid. If you wanna progress you might have to make the first move.

I'd love if a girl did that. I'm always bad at initiating stuff, I never know if I'm supposed to, and I'm afriad if I try something and the girl doesn't like it, I've just fucked up pretty bad.
