don't go near the pigeons in toronto. they're swimming with disease. and don't feed them either. you're just encouraging them to attack people.

It's not like I live there. The pigeons won't attack me in Pittsburgh.

Joanne,
I hear you on the Hard Rock Obession. I LOVE

Hard Rocks. If Ifind out there is one in City I am in I will go. Been to about 20 now. I collect the pins. I never went to a pin show oranything. i should start getting 2 now for trade. When I was in Ottawa last month. the guy told me they will trade me a pin for one of theirs. Next time I will bring a NYC one since I work close enough to it.
NIKKI, You guys were staying near the Yonge Street HR in Toronto. I love the SKydome one better. Been there a few times
Worse place for pigeons are London, England(Trafalgar Square) and Saulsalito(SAN FRAN) they are everywhere.

I've only ever seen pigeons in the "Downtown Vancouver" part of the city... I've only ever (remembered) seeing crows on the north shore. And there are a lotta crows.

you know why they are only downtown? because of the tourists. the tourists feed them, therefore they hang out downtown because they know they will get food. i usually don't see pigeons near my area because the people are smart enough not to feed them.

people shouldn't feed animals that way, then they become dependent on people like that and they become pests

Oh were we? Oh well. I was talking about the first trip to Toronto last fall with Matt, Melissa, and Nam, anyway... we didn't really get to eat out the second trip, except for once when we went to the Golden Griddle. Mmm... Golden Griddle. Darn it, I'm starving.

where is the golden griddle at? Sounds familiar. Maybe I passed it one day. From photos looks like across from Maple Leaf Gardens. BTW, Planet Hollywood is only a few blocks away from Skydome Hardrock. Actually HR is up the stairs from PH.
all this talk about T. O makes me want to go back.

This is my latest endeavor...proving why I would make the worst housewife on the planet. Somehow, in the midst of alternating the purl and gartner stitches row by row I managed to tack on a few extra stitches at the beginnings of the rows....like 15.
