I gotta be honest, a lot of the songs in the movie were terrible. some fit the mood and pacing of the movie very well which was nice, but there were only a few actual good songs.

Indeed. I disagree with Lando. Soundtrack was gold.

I'm not saying it was a bad soundtrack. The songs fit the movie well,
but a lot of the songs themselves, if you hadn't heard them playing over that movie, you'd go WTF?! is this some guy sitting in his room recording this? Something you'd see on youtube that's just very low production quality... and there's a lot of that on youtube.

there are some really good songs too though.

its better junk

and i have to disagree with you on the soundtrack of Juno. I laughed my ass off. and sure it maybe low-quality-youtubeesque but it works for me. after all listen to dylan. They guy rambles and often sings like shit but it is classic.
same with Leonard cohen dude has a voice like a camel in a sewer pipe but lyrics and composition are brilliant.

okay back to being sick

Dylan shouldn't be considered anywhere near the leagues of this soundtrack. Sure some of his stuff was a bit more experimental and had some lower production quality depending on the era of his career, but that's where the similarities end.

Why? We can compare him to Dylan.

you can, but it's not going to mean much comparing the most covered artist in history to some of the bad stuff on that soundtrack...
