People from the record company and press always seem to have copies. I remember when I was in Moncton a few years back. There was this guy( a rep form sony) putting up the Gravity posters.. It was to promote the cd coming out. He saw an OLP pin on me and asked if I liked them and knew about the new cd coming out. I told him I knew. he said this cd was awesome etc.( please no personal comments on Gravity here). I told him I know I heard the CD all ready.. He got angry at me. He said to me HOW DID YOU HEAR THE CD ETC? He then went on to say it is people like me why the cd doesn't sell. This guy really upset at the time. The people on the boards told me not to let some a-hole upset me over something like that. If anyone supports OLP it is me. Damn I am putting the Maida & Coutts kids through college..

These guys get a free cd cause of their job. Same why you always see industry people in front rows at shows instead of fans.. Just all part of the industry I guess.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again
12. Al Genina (Leave A Light On) - Great acoustic riff to start off the song. I love when a song has a strong feel to it that pulls you in & you feel like you're in the story as its being told.[/
I think it's gonna be Raine talking and telling a story with Steve in the back playing along..

Canadian band Our Lady Peace will also be highlighting old favorites and new tunes from its upcoming August release, "Healthy in Paranoid Times." Playing live for the second time in two years, it will not only be exciting to see the band on stage again but it's lucky that there's even a band left to perform.

"We broke up a couple of times during the making of the record, but I think the music really benefited from it," says Coutts. "It was like getting back to basics."

As to how Coutts describes the group's back-to-basics music, he doesn't want to be pigeon-holed to a certain sound and calls it's multigenred rock 'n' roll. One thing he is sure of is that Our Lady Peace does not play a one-hit-wonder type of music. "Hopefully in a world of pop music that's thoroughly disposable, we don't fit in," he says.

Yeah, it make me worried that they won't be around for another album...but I also think that another album will just be more of those 40 songs they made.

Come on, isn't that how all bands make records? Get together, make music, get in a fight, repeat?

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I'm not too impressed with OLPs marketing right now, aside from the one commercial and a couple internet/print ads...the album is less than a month away, and I don't hear anybody talking about the album, or anyone I'm friends with knows that they even have a new single out./
