Shoes are great, but the best ever are sandals. So comfy....mmmmm sandals......mmmmm......
No but seriously, just complain to the company that made your shoes (Nike, Adidas, whatever) and say the soles are wearing out or the treads are gone. Usually customer service will send you a new pair (rather than deal with a screaming complaining person) and only request you to send your old ones in. I’ve done it 3 times now...good little trick..

No, I actually took a picture of one of my shoes back last year when it was in mint condition while in the perfectly white pedestal in my house.
And yes, yes it is spelled sandle.
