if i were in that position, or in a coma, i think i'd just want to be put to sleep (a nice term). i really dont see the point of living like that.

i just like the term because it sounds peaceful. you get one shot, and you're out.

I've lost a lot of people in my life. Especially father-like figures.
When I was 3.5 yrs old, my father was killed in a car accident. When I was 6, my grandpa died of a heart attack. When I was 9, my close friends' father died from cancer. When I was 13, my friends' grandpa died from cancer. A friend of mine died from lymphoma last year. A few months later, her best friend got hit by a car and died. My principal died from an unexpected heart attack. I watched a dad on my brother's hockey team slowly die from cancer. My mentor in high school was dying from cancer, but she's in remission, thank god.
I hate funeral homes. It can't stand seeing grown men and women cry. Scares the shit out of me. I think it's because I saw a ton of people cry when my dad was killed, and I didn't understand what was going on, and it scared me.
I guess I'm kinda like Alan with the death thing, though. So many people have died in my life, that I just deal with it. Death is a normal thing. You can't avoid it, and I believe that everyone has a certain time to die.

I think that's hard for a lot of people, especially as children. When you're a child, adults are the strong people, the ones that we idealize as indestructable. When children see these adults showing emotions such as fear and sadness, it can be scary because it means that everyone is vaulnerable.
Dammit .. I have the special extended movie of LOTR and I went to watch the 2nd part last night and for the first 5-10 minutes all you get is this whistling sound, no voices or sounds from the movie .. now I have to go and buy another copy and I only watched this one twice

I didn't know it came with a CD. We use them for math class in school.
You might have to install the games on to it. But I think it must come with them already on it, because the school has them on the silver ones, and I doubt they would have installed them, since we aren't supposed to play them (but we still do).
Try pressing "Apps" on your calculator, and looking on that list for "PuzzPack". I think it was either 7 or 8 on the school calcs.

ohh, the problem with our school is people always steal the batteries from the school-owned calculators. i really don't know what people would do with 4 AAA batteries, since you cant even use them from cd players or stuff like that, maybe its a fetish.
