okay I have to be honest. th eonly reason I watched the auditions was to the see the guy masacre the Ricky Martin song. I got a good laugh out of it. He actually thought he was good enough to become an idol. What sickens me is how this guy got a record contract. What makes it even worse is he did an album of Ricky Martin covers, ahs avideo for She Bangs and wait is actually performing live at a radio concert in NYC(Z00) in May,.
watch it sell a million copies also.

it kills me how a talentless person gets a deal while real singers can't even get their songs heard. Makes you wonder what the hell is going on with the USA music industry.

Anyone who can't see that people like William Hung purely for entertainment value is really really stupid. No one is going to come along and say "Hey, wait. William Hung is really talented. He has a great voice and he deserves all the success he can get." No. Even people that like him realize it is all for entertainment. So stop whining.

Basically, he's cool because he goes to a University of California.

Sure...its not the BEST one, but we'll take what we can get.

p.s- we beat Cal in basketball, and don't have any weird creepy singers from here.........(that I know of)

there's no need to call people stupid. The thing we are complaining and talking about is this guy is so aweful and gets all this attention, fame and it is just sad. At least me. I jsut have aproblem with all of this. There are so many worthy others. He isn't even horrible in a good sense. He is just horrible. It is like you are having him forced down you.

It's a waste of time and money and the industry should be ashamed of themselves for this. I don't find it entertaining. Now Weird AL was entertaining. He maynot been able to sing, but his parodies were hillarious. If I want to hear entertainment i will listen to old Doctor Demento tapes.

I couldn't have said it any better. All the attention he is getting is rediculus.
