You are the one known as the clone of Prince William, right?

Before you went scruffy, you were a looker. Now you're a looker with scruffy hair, which goes over well.

If there's any curls in it, women will play with it all the time.

I never can understand how girls can just go up to guys and start playing with their hair. I guess I have me a goal for the next concert then: play w/ hot guys' hair...and hope their girlfriend isn't anywhere near.

I agree totally about the looks/personality thing. I see tons of way good looking girls w/ not so great looking guys. If you get to know people, then personality CAN get you in, even if you're just marginally good looking.

I think this is why I can never get second and third dates. I *think* I have a personality, but I am so nervous at first I don't really show it, and they never ask me out again cause they think I'm dumber than a rock.

Hey, at least you know what you're problem is. I can barely muster a thought for why I am so very lonely.

Without you I'm as good as

Well...it's just a guess. Maybe it's...ok I won't go there.

I thought you said you think Matt likes you now!? You are confusing me.

Hmm... I dunno, I never really bought into that social status thing. Maybe ignoring it excludes you from it? I'm not really aware of any social rank or whatever that I have.... I guess I choose friends and such who are similar to me in interests because those are the people i like, ie, i'm not exactly friends with any stuck up preppy kids, but i dunno. I like people who don't care enough about popularity to worry that they don't have any. As for the whole dating thing, I found me a combination jock/nerd, which is rare, and super fine.

I thought that was funny

Rufus Wainwright wrote:Well, I would like to concur with Marissa when she says looks don't matter. Like I've said, I've consistantly been scoring with the hotter girls in life, and I'm no looker. It really is about personality. If you're pretty but can't hold a conversation, you'll never get a girl, but if you have marginal good looks and can talk to people, you score much more than you think you would. It really works out like this.

Anyways, if that doesn't work, just grow your hair out long. If there's any curls in it, women will play with it all the time. Strangers come up to me at concerts just to play with it, then I talk to them. It's pretty nice, I must say. So develop a personality or grow your hair out, then you'll be getting women. It works.

I concur with this. I can confirm it.
Don't ask questions, just accept it.

thanks.

and also, to add onto my point, most guys that are of the super sexy persuation turn out to be major jerks, and I have learned that the hard way. that is why I go for guys who are funny, smart and nice over their looks any day. in my opinion, good looks are just an added bonus, but not necessary.

i hate girls... well, not necessarliy... i just never wanna date again for a while... my last two gf's ended up being really psycho in the end! eeeks!

I agree with marissa tho, that looks just end up being a bonus. I have never dated a girl because she was "hot" or "had huge boobs"... i'm more interested in someone i can talk to... if i dont click with them, there's no point.

Guys can score higher on the "hot" rank, now how does this work for girls?

OK, here's how I see your question, Cass.

I don't know why, but women tend to date for personality. Of course, you have some vain women out there who date purely on looks, and those women suck at life. It baffles the mind, but lots of good looking women date men of mediocre looks (like me) and date me for a long time. I like that.

But with men, however, especially those with no personalities, don't tend to date girls with a personality and decent looks. This is me speaking here, but men tend to dismiss women that are funny and have bad looks because that is how we are. Every man has a certain type of woman that want to find and date, and we tend to not settle down and date until we find that kind of woman, unless you're a manwhore (like me). A personality is fun, but guys like to show their women off to other guys to make them jealous, and you can't flaunt a personality in a mini-skirt and a shirt that spills out cleavage. That's just how it is.

The guys with personality are the lucky ones, because we're able to find insanely good looking women and sucker them into dating us. I've done it my entire life, and I am proud of that. I hope I never lose that ability, or else I'll just be an overweight piece of shit with porn on his computer.

And when it comes to looks, there's a huge difference in the amount of things guys have to have to be good looking than girls do. All guys have to have is a cute face, not be insanely fat, and have a penis, and they're already decent looking. Then there's added bonuses like nice hair, nice nails, knows how to dress, things that can easily change any given time.

Then there's women. Guys judge the face, body type, weight, boob size, shapeliness of ass, and in my case, hair. Then there are the things like willingness to put out and how they dress that factor into the decision. Men clearly have it easier than women when it comes to dating.

That is why I think it's easier for men to score out of their league. There's not too many things necessary to make a guy be good looking, but to most guys, there's lots of things needed to appeal us to a woman. That's why a personality doesn't go that far with a woman.

I should write a fucking book about this shit. I know what I am talking about.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Yes, write a book

or else I'll just be an overweight piece of shit with porn on his computer.
That made me laugh alot.

I guess my theory of me seeming to have little to no personality on a first date is null then.

I think I will hold on to my faith that not all men are like that....

You're good looking though, and if you have a sarcastic wit, you could score huge with me. But then again, you're in fucking Utah. I mean, come on, who lives in Utah? It should be disbanded, along with Utah, and given away to the highest bidder to do what he or she wants with it. Yeah.

By the way, not all men are like that. That's the majority that are shallow. Those usually are the ones with no personality at all. Believe me, the good looking ones usually have no personality, and they never get girls, while someone like me gets gorgeous girls all the time, and am ugly compared to the guys. It's just how life works. If you set your sights a little lower from gorgeous to good looking guy, you'll have a lot better of a time in finding someone worthwhile.

8-) Someday my Grandpa will die and I will have to trek out there ;)

Disbanded!? Now come on, have you ever been to Utah? But then again, if you say I'm good looking, Utah guys must not think the same. Therefore, it SHOULD be disbanded. ;)

I am not sarcastic at all.

Believe me, as long as you don't act like a complete moron when you speak, you can find a guy. Just don't aim for knockouts all the time, and don't act desperate. Things will work out. You just have to date around for a bit, then you'll find someone worthwhile. I've dated my share of girls, and after each one I've dated, I've learned something new and each relationship after it gets better and lasts longer. So just date around, see what happens, you're bound to find someone.

See this is what I always find so baffling. "Just date around", they say. Is there some list somewhere that I add my name, phone number, and picture to?

I guess I could try asking out first. Blah, I hate that.
