Though I did hear newer Oasis at the supermarket a few months ago. Then the same song at the drug store. That made me very happy.
i'd be pretty excited to hear superman's dead, although wonderwall is a great song superman's is more then a song for me, it's OLP and i hope someday i'll hear superman's dead in the radio in my country..
My friend heard SOT in Topshop (clothes shop) once and I kept going into mine even though I haven't bought any clothes from there for years, in the hopes of hearing some too, but I never did
I heard Chantal in the Tommy Hilfiger store at an outlet mall north of Seattle and got way too excited.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

I remember you saying that!! And that's almost like what happened to me and Melissa!!
The rest of Strawbridges plays other music... only juniors and young mens plays non-musak. The moment we walked into juniors, the drum beat at the beginning of the song started. It was awesome.

I was in SUCH a bad mood today, and I jumped in my car only to hear "up next... Our Lady peace", and then I heard the beginning of Superman's Dead and I freaked out. It completely turned around my day. The best part was leaving the parking lot (you have to roll down the window and swipe your badge to get out)... I didn't realize how loud my radio was until I saw everyone turn and look at me.

Fashion Bug has I'm Ready For Your Love on one of their tapes - when I worked there and it came on I flipped out in the store. My co-workers who love me to death were all "OMG WTF IS WRONG WITH MEGAN?!"
I always love hearing them randomly on soundtracks too.

Nice! I was actually in Hall of Heros when she came on. That was probably the strangest part.
Hall of Heros = comic book/geek store

Today I was in a bowling alley and they were playing music by Mariah, Janet, Beyonce, Britney, etc... and then A/L/S came on and hubby and I looked at each other for a split second like this --> me: him: Then I jumped in the air from excitement. And then I bowled a strike And then I jumped again!
I am a geek for so many reasons based on this story

I was in the car once with my roommate and the new OLP song came on (at the time it was Somewhere Out There) - I'd never heard it before and I KNEW it was them and I started shrieking in the car.
My roommate just looked at me like I was fucking retarded.
It was hilarious.

Haha, first time I ever heard SOT, I was also in a car with friends, and I made the entire car be quiet so I could hear it.

Yes I hurd Angels Losing Sleep in the Mall and then in a dollarstore I was in!
My mood instantly changed once I hurd them.
Nice to see them getting lots of play.
Our local radio station POWER 97 LOVES OLP and they make a point of playing them alot.
