the admin decided on it. it was unanimous so there was no reason to question otherwise.

with the advent of Jeff's message board..we felt as though it was a waste of space for him to have a thread here as well...

it was going to no longer be my forum but a community forum about fun and games and prizes and laughter and smiling.

too bad the cm is all about not being tacky.

the jeff forum was a joke! who cares what it's about? it was just a thing for fun!

anybody whose ego was threatened by it has a serious self-confidence issue. there was no doug forum, you didn't see me getting upset over it. it was something to laugh about. i can't believe it caused all this contraversy.

the case is closed for now. talk to the other admin about it.

I know this might not make up for it, but how about be make the "Jeff's fun time thread" or something? I mean, we can put it in this forum or something, then we can call have fun and play games in there and what not, at least until this new forum is made for games. I mean, it may not be an entire forum, but it's a start, right?

you can do that for now. we're not saying goodbye to the jeff topic forever..it's just that there was controversy as to how applicable it was to the majority of the members of the CM.

anyway, we're trying to make some changes in the cm and we think that we need to keep it focused on what this message board is really about, music and the band. that is not to say that we can't have fun and spam our little hearts out too, but that jeff forum was looking pathetic in comparison to the almighty jeff board anyway.

and as for your ideas about the fun and games, jeff, they do sound great, something we can definately work on together and perhaps launch when we launch the rest of the new areas. these are um... tumultuous times, just hang in there. In the long run we're trying to make everyone happy, that's what we're here for.

one thing you could do to make a growing minority happy is keep the flexing of admin muscle to a minimum.

somehow i never remember feeling this way before, so i can only conclude that this new "watch what you say/do" atmosphere is due to the change in management.
