ok. I think I'm going to call later this afternoon and ask how many tickets are left. If they say not a lot, I will buy two, and if they say a lot, I will wait until I am sure that we can go.

this is looking good, folks! (ahh that word reminds me of my evil algebra II teacher)

Sarah got an e-mail back from her gsi, which stated: if you absolutely cannot attend our section that week (and can provide a convincing reason for it), then it's OK with me.

My GSI has no problem with me missing my discussion section on Friday either, especially since I told her that I would probably miss a discussion or two. I have to make it up on a Wednesday, though. No big deal :)

SO.....we need a "convincing reason!!!!"

Any ideas???!?!!?!?

and then wrap your dog's leg in toilet paper, make sure you put some ketchup on the toilet paper, and have him lay down..then take a photo from really far away and present it the next week to your teacher as proof.

I think I'm going to tell Sarah to tell her gsi that her friend (me) has to go to Rochester, NY for a family gathering (you guys are like my family ), and she doesn't want to go by herself (which is true), so I asked Sarah to go with me (which is also true).

 that's convincing enough, don't you think?
