Su7an: I bet Duncan can fly. He's just holding out on showing that skill off.
joe_canadian: Yeah, one day at a concert he'll just stop playing and be like
"Yo muthafuckas! Wheeeeee!" and zoom off into the horizon

Actually, I kinda like it. There is a little overlap with the Life video, but it's not bad. It's nice... I dunno... all the different images come together nicely. There's no outright concept, but it's still nice and cohesive and seems to fit the song.
I agree.. for some reason i had this vision of a campfire sing-a-long or something. It was better than i had expected.
It did kind of remind me of the Life video in some sense. Although the concepts seemed better.
And the band shots were really good i thought. The band was "rockin" out. The best part was Steve and Duncan singing backup vocals. That looked great.

I thought the band shots were really good. I was surprised to not see anything with the band sitting in the classroom. Some of the scenes with the kids were pretty good, but some seemed like they didn't really fit. The video was alright. I gotta watch it again to see if i like it or not.
hehe, steve got so into the singing.

No he wasn't. Or was he? i don't think he was though.
you know what part i really liked? When Raine was outside all by himself leaning on the fence singing with the school in the background.

There was the one part where he was just sitting in the desk. It was for like 2 seconds though.
I'm still wondering what happened to the band shots in the classroom... they are up on olp.com.........
i'd give the vid an 7.5/10... a big improvement over SOT

Definitely! I totally agree Lori. That stands out as my favourite image from the video.
The slow POV shot running up the arm of Duncan's bass was cool to. But that's been done before, I just can't remember where. Who directed this again?

I was the first one that ripped the video the same night for all of you here, I ripped it into a CAM version, it wasn't the best but all were happy to at least see what it look like, then after the good versions came !

I saw the vid from 11:30 last night. Here's my thoughts...
It was definately a good video. You can't compare it to old ones like OMA, because the old ones are out of this league. Innocent starts off with the band playing, then goes through a bunch of houses, with teens lookin' depressed. It had Johnny rockin' out on his guitar in his basement. Some skateboarder, a bunch of random people, some guy lookin' in the mirror, then shaving his head, it had Tina lookin' all depressed into the mirror. The camera was always moving, so it was kind of cool. Then, at the end, the camera went backwards through all the places it had been, and all the people were singing along with the "We are, we are all innocent". I really love the band shots. Total rocking out. Steve looked amazing doing backup vocals on a mic that was too short. He sort of leaned back while fliping out on the guitar, and sang upwards into the mic. Very cool. And there's one shot where Duncan just hits the E string and lets it ring, and the camera goes really close to his bass, and runs up the length of the neck. Sweet shot. Sweet video.
Well, anything's sweet after SOT. lol
My rating: 9/10
