This one sounds a lot like Raine Maida solo stuff. I hope we get to hear the whole song for curiosity's sake.

Just occurred to me that we could possibly get demos of already released songs. Don't Ask Why would be awesome.

In the meantime on Facebook appears another promo:
https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10 ... ideo_reply
I think that a lot of us know the song (Blind Anniversary)...and guys this is far better than the demo that we have...however for first release i don't know why but i'd like to hear Warnings!

Oh and this is the answer to a comment on Facebook: "there is no set timeline for any releases as of right now. We are just going to play it by ear and see what all of YOU think we should do.

You never know, we might just send one out before Thursday "
I think that it's only to create hype..i will be surprised if there will be a release tomorrow!

Weekly would be cool. I know Kanye kinda made the weekly release trend in rap music with his G.O.O.D Fridays series, but I can't think of any rock bands who have done something like this.

on a side note...

I think the quality of the songs are going to be better than the one's we've heard i.e. Blind Anniversary, Trapeze, etc, etc... After all, OLP does own the original files...

The ability to hear these songs in higher quality audio spectrum is phenomenal. Like Matt has mentioned, we're lucky that we are getting any songs, if any. And like I've mentioned before, I'd be willing to pay for these songs and the fact that we are getting them for free proves the OLP is loyal to their fans as we've been loyal to them.

Here https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10 ... ideo_reply you can hear a snippet of Blind Anniversary and like you can hear the quality it's amazing and also really better than our version!

Ah. Not too familiar with them so wasn't aware of that.

Well of course lol, I'm just saying that I would be willing to pay for an actual compilation album of all the rarities/b-sides/unreleased songs all together if they chose to do it that way instead of releasing songs for free a few at a time. I'm happy either way, though.

Watching these old session videos really makes me miss Jer. It's hard to imagine he's gone. Even though I saw them at Edge Fest with the rental guy, it's just sinking in watching these now. :crying:

I never quite bought into FITH chorus so I'm also hoping for The Wolf. That's pretty much last on my priority list, need something new here.

They have so much other material, I doubt they would choose to release this since it's so close to the final version. If they do include demos of released songs, I'd rather hear either of the songs that were combined to form Somewhere Out There, a version of Innocent with the original lyrics, or some of the other HIPT tracks that went through more radical transformations. :duncan:

I would love to hear the SWOT songs also. Unfortunately I don't think they were ever recorded. From the dialogue I've heard Bob dissected them almost instantly.
