not sure why you asked this. If you are talking about video for Dreamland. it is the video up now which took footage from the first leg of tour put to the studio track..Unless you are talking about something else.

I think Trustworthy has said that there isn't an official word on the what is or if there will be an official music video.

That Video is just TW's video no different than IAH? or OMA or PM video he has created.

It said on that site link that the official video was a montage of scenes from this leg of the tour....which is kinda boring.

Yeah, that site is obviously misinformed. They're referring to TW's video.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

I totally disagree with people who say that the earlier chorus was better.

To be honest, I'd be surprised if it made any type of impact in America. AYD peaked at 36 on Hot Alternative Songs, and The End at 40 on the same chart... That means most rock stations aren't going to be playing it, aside from the northern stations and other random locations that already show OLP some love.

I hope I'm wrong though.

It doesnt need to be a rock station per se but any alternative and pop station... i can see it getting popular on some positive alternative station first and then breaking into the more main stream stations... maybe.

I hate to say it but I doubt that. Esp when OLP gets next to no love in big markets in the States..Sad really, when crap is played on radio but real music and good bands aren't anymore. Most of the artist I love really aren't played on USA radio. Except U2. There was a time they weren't though.

I am good terms with a few dj's here in NYC so going to email them to play it. There is so much new music and bands now they would get lost in it all. :(

The only differences with this video and the others are:

1. this video was created to help promote the single release

2. this video took a fuck of a lot longer to make lol

Now once it got uploaded the thing took on a life of its own and people started calling it the official video etc etc - now its out of our hands and has been making rounds all over the web - which exactly what it was supposed to do :)

anyways if ya dont like it, cool - if you do , cooler :)

TW,

I don't find anything wrong with the video. ALot better then some cheesy piece of crap you see now adays. Plus I would think it might make people want to go see the band live..

In the end it is the song which matters most. YOu did do a very good job with this. Editing is great.. Bravo and I am not just kissing your butt( ill).. Now I might have to punch you caus eyou seem to like that..:p

It's a good video. However, I wouldn't say it should really be an official video. So while it's a cool little thing for the fans, I don't really think it'd be good choice to have "official" slapped on it for huge views and airplay (as casual fans and non-OLP fans might see it as a cheap, low budget video, without knowing the videos real purpose).

well we never said it was official - that was other peoples doing - i think its kinda funny :)

Its just something to look at while you listen ...just another avenue to get dreamland to the people - i think anyone who watches it will know that the sole purpose of the video is for them to hear the song ;)
