Sorry Ohio State is a dry campus

I may have a busier Thursday than I had planned on.
Def be at the show, not sure what time I'll have for pre-game though.

I think you mean a $26 ticket for $32.65 where $2.50 was for the convenience to print the ticket at home (we all know that's a rip off -- next time look for the will call option if they have it) -- $4.15 in fees is not bad! I can't recall the last time I went to a ticketed show with such low fees.

Nope, $20.00 for the ticket. $6.00 for a convience charge AND $4.15 for a "order processing fee" , then the $2.50 to print from home...$12.65 in fees .....unreal

I actually went to my local giant eagle instead who sells ticketmaster tickets and baught it there. Only cost me $26.60 because i only had to pay the $20.00 ticket price+ the $6.60 dollar convience charge....screw buying them online

Ah -- the numbers you posted had the $20 and $6 lumped together. That is pretty high!

While I'm very much ready to go off to my own dreamland this late evening, OLPs dreamland did not make an appearance tonight.

But that's ok because they brought out Is Anybody Home

Automatic Flowers made it's appearance.
Little White House + Not Enough showed up to the party as well.

In the end though I was actually disappointed with the show. The sound was not good at the place, and I felt there was a lot of distorion that I couldn't get around.

Almost as if after Company of Theives (Who sounded fantastic) they replaced their speakers with 15w rampages from WalMart and cranked it up to 11

More to come tomorrow if I get the chance
Ready to fall asleep here

I may or may not have warned someone that he was present at the soundcheck. He was front row center during the show and was trying to get Raine's attention during Starseed and it was obvious that Raine was ignoring him.

In Repair was supposed to be in the setlist but they dropped it for Not Enough. I was sad they didn't play Dreamland.

I met our mysterious Mr. Trustworthy for the first time. Had no clue he'd turn out to be 6' 4" w/ scraggly blond hair.

At this point I think Raine screws up SOT on purpose just as a sort of tagline. Perhaps to give us something to talk about the next day.

I don't think his voice was as on as it has been even in the recent past. The previously mentioned sound quality could had something to do with it as well.

I just remember their last performance here in Columbus being spot on dead fantastic. Last nights performance doesn't rank that high in my books :(

My friends review and first OLP concert:

I ended up going to our lady peace concert- AWESOME!

I actually went to see company of thieves, and they were good, I had little knowledge of olp but they took me by great surprise, the audience apparently was all devoted olps, the chorus was amazing, they freaking knew every word to every song.

Just waking up from an amazing night that i will never forget. Bree and Tom, It was nice getting to know the both of you better. Jamie , it was nice meeting you as well. I spoke to my wife and shes up for making the trip to Canada when they make their stops!

Highlight of the night was me catching Jeremys drum stick!!! Then afterwards waiting and having it signed by Raine, Duncan, Steve and Jeremy...Thats to the lady that kept getting on and off the tour bus(forget your name sorry) and Trusty, THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!!!!!! To top it off i got my picture taken with Duncan and Steve! I cant believe how down to earth Steve and Duncan are. I asked Steve when they would add Are you sad to the setlist and he said that its their next song their planning on adding to their setlist!!

Not enough was so great, Duncan said it wasnt even planned and they just threw it in at the last minute.

Ive got TEIWWB, AF and Not Enough recorded in full( front row directly in front of Duncan) and the usual 50 or so pictures. Ill post them sometime this week because ill be in Columbus until tomorrow
