Fair Ground was pretty awful. I listened to the album once and it actually put me in a terrible mood for the rest of the day. :lol:

It has a few catchy songs. I liked Mike and Jay better. Jay's new stuff is really freaking awful, though.

That reminds me of a time I went on a road trip with a friend. He brought his Nirvana discs and after 20 minutes of listening to one, I wanted to drive my truck into on coming traffic. :nod:

Yeah, that doesn't make much sense, since the music they made together was seriously some of the best I've ever heard.

It's possible for that to happen, regardless of musicians not feeling a connection. And it'd make it way fun for fans, but lousy for them. I can understand why they wouldn't pursue any more if that was the situation. I'm not happy about it, but I can understand it. :lol:

I used to think Annie and Consequence of Laughter were connected. I misheard the lyrics as, "Nobody wants to hurt you Annie you're okay."

Everyone's a Junkie would be among my least favorite songs if it weren't for that chorus. Man, what a good chorus.

everyones a junkie is definitely one of my favorite songs of all time by them.

when i first heard spiritual machines i was like um did he really just say that? a lot of the lyrics were questionable, but i love them to death now.

makes a lot of sense to me... mike turner left OLP and i personally think the material with him was their best, even though they cited that they didn't have the connection or same direction in mind anymore.
