People used to always tell me I looked like one of the gilmore girls. But I hadn't seen the show and had no idea what they were talking about.
Now that I have I still have no idea what they were talking about. Alexis Bledel? Really? That chick is way to hot to look like me

Somebody said that I reminded them of Amy Lee. Which is odd because I have blonde hair and I'm skinny. My hairdresser says I have Jennifer Anniston hair.

alexis bledel is not that hot. you probably have her beat by a long shot.

gilmore girls annoyed me because it seemed like people were constantly talking too fast and the whole thing was overscripted. someone thought waaaay too hard about the pop culture references & the puns. it was just really stilted, i found.

I was stuck in a room when it was on once. It seemed like the most boring show ever. They just talked and talked and talked some more, and nothing ever actually happened.

Seriously, I was finished the first season and half way into the next before I was like "..wait a minute, isn't this the show everyone keeps going on about the characters talking too fast??"
They don't even compare to some of my cousins from 'round the bay. Couple that speed with a thick Newfie accent and then try to understand a single sentence!

I only ever started watching the show because I like Jared Padalecki (the boyfriend character for the first few seasons), but then I ended up getting hooked and devouring all the episodes even for the 2 and a half seasons after he left. I can see how it would have less appeal to people who weren't attracted to it for the purpose of teen-girlishly-giggling over an actor though. It's only really worth watching if you like the characters.

Yeah, the West Wing guys talk about as fast or faster than the Gilmore Girls. And I love West Wing, it's easily in my top shows. Aaron Sorkin. There's a man I'd do naughty things with.

Anyhoo, I'm only on season four. But man, is it addictive. And Rory is cute.

I love the spoof Family Guy did on West Wing, where Chris is the president and just keeps talking and talking. (It's at the beginning of the Stewie movie for those who don't know). Funny stuff

Family Guy did a spoof of Gilmore Girls, too.
