I swear I heard them say they were going back between touring and the studio... and that a new CD COULD come out by Summer... Matt? Nikki? Anyone?

They played the new song tonight - it's called A Kiss On The Mouth or something like that. It was a HIPT reject. I didn't like it.

Duncan told us that they're trying to get out of their contract with Sony because they're really not getting the support they need (which we've all noticed) and they're aiming to do a new album very soon.

To add onto what Sooz said, some of OLP's key backers at Sony have been fired in the past year or so. Duncan attributed this to one of the reasons they have had no true US support and no support for the album.

That's some good information Soozy, thanks. I really am happy OLP are trying to get out of Sony. They can right? Because the contract is over. Shouldn't be too hard. I wonder if they'll go self or something?

I hope they put out more albums, even better than the shit they've been spewing! I hope they can go back to Clumsy and Naveed and take some inspiration from their own fantastic albums, and bring back the OLP that we know and love. The new stuff is weak. But if they can get away from the Rock-influence, I think they can be greatness once again.

i think this will be their last album or second last album before a big "hiatus".. and i think they will make a comeback album way later that will bring back all old olp fans, etc.
