OK I went to the Bloc site and this was the first thing I noticed:

Image

*For the non-French-speaking, the highlighted sentence at the bottom reads, "The Bloc leader [Duceppe, at left in the picture] explained himself this way: 'Shhhh Shhhhh Shhhhh' "

:wtf:

the point is

don't vote conservative. they plan to be more aggresive in the US's WAR ON DRUGS, they will support GWB and the republican government, they will move canada's stance on the Iraq War to PRO and lets not forget Harpers stubborn POV on gay marriage.

harper is creep, slimy and is barely masking his self righteous and highly personal agenda! Canada will be taking a step backwards if the conservatives get elected.

well that's what the bloque site says ^^^ which is why duceppe was refuting claims of being chummy with harper... which of course seems to go against that picture

The Bin Laden tape today, and the situation with Iran.... I'm happy that Canada is not at war and I worry that Harper will go along with whatever GWB wants to do.

I love traveling in Europe with Canadian flags on my backpack and having people stop me to chat just because they see that I'm Canadian. My American friends get pins and flags from me every time they go to a country where they feel they may encounter bad feelings toward Americans... I hope I never feel the need to do that.

p.s.
I want to vote for the Bloc now, purely out of humour.

When I read it in french, i was like "No way, im reading it improperly. But then, you confirmed it."

I've been reading a lot about the election lately. I wish I had voted in the advanced polls to get it over with. I won't be staying up Monday night to find out the results as I normally do because I don't think I'll be happy to find out.

That's what I want to do too, but sadly my riding is such a tight fight that I don't think I want to use my vote as a statement. Also, I didn't recieve a registration card :( Can I still just show up on election day?

Yeah, you just have to bring ID with your name, address and signature.
