why are middle names always so awkward? why can't parents choose normal names that would hold up well as a first name if the need ever arose? :roll:

As a older guy's middle name, it doesn't bug me. It's one of my father's middle names, and he passed it to my brother... crappy middle name for a 28 year old!

is that really how you spell it Nikki? Because:

1) That's the boys' spelling. Girls should spell it Renee (sorry can't find an acute accent) since the french love putting an e on the of anything girlie (like fiance/fiancee, blond/blonde).
2) How on earth did I not know this before?

PS it was my Granny's middle name too (with the extra e)

My parents made a booboo. But now it's generally accepted as both male and female, so yeah.
