The negative speak did that to me for a very short period of time, too. Then I listened to the album and realized I didn't agree with anything anyone was saying. Never let the opinions of others sway your own opinion.

Thumbs up for this thread. Gravity gets way too much hate..it's a solid album. I'm sure it turned a lot of people onto OLP's older stuff too..how is that a bad thing?

i listened to some of gravity today. it sounded so..i don't know. weird. different. not like i remembered it.

I've been going back and listening straight through at all 7 records, and I realized, Gravity's actually really good when I go back and listen to it. I do really like the end of the album (Sell My Soul, Sorry, Bring Back The Sun, A Story About A Girl), although I really don't care for Do You Like It & Made Of Steel, the rest of the album is solid, even Somewhere Out There & Innocent that are both criticized for being played so much on radio and stuff. All For You & Not Enough are both really cool too. I actually wish there were more songs on the album.
